Last week was Nursery Rhyme week in pre-k.

Throughout the week we learned many Nursery Rhymes. Nursery Rhymes are so important for children learning to read. Some of our class favorites are Hickory Dickory Dock, Mary had a Little Lamb, and Humpty Dumpty.

Our letter of the week was N. N is for nest.

During literacy centers we practiced rebelling stories with QR codes.

We had a very fun week in Pre-K.

January 13-17

After a nice Christmas Break, we are back in the swing of things in Pre-K.

In literacy centers this week we are practicing our letter recognition.

On Tuesday we got to go to the Stephen Fite concert. The theme of the concert was "Knowledge is your Super Power." We dressed up as super heros and headed to the concert. We had a great time!
